Persefone: Spiritual migration
12/04/13 || Lord K Philipson
Obviously skilled as fuck when it comes to handling the instruments, Andorra’s Persefone surprise me quite a bit with their take on progressive, brutal metal. What makes this band a bit fresh is the fact that they compose some real nice breathers in between the brutality and the controlled semi-chaos that is “Spiritual migration”. Just listen to the tune “Metta meditation” after a song like “The great reality” and you’ll know what I mean.
Persefone should be able to get some interest within the metal community. I believe I just did my part for that to happen (except for not writing a deserved “real” review). Check them out.
7,5/10: I am a little impressed.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
